The RCUK Energy Programme (RCUKEP), led by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), is encouraging the participation of UK researchers in the current DOE-NE FY 2017 Consolidated Innovative Nuclear Research (CINR) Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).

The RCUKEP will support the UK component of proposals including US/UK collaboration in specific areas found in Appendix A of DE-FOA-0001515​.

UK funding, as part of this announcement, does not count towards the US funding limits as described in the FOA. UK funds will be released based on the NEUP's funding recommendations.
