The EnergyTech University Prize is back!

November 9, 2023

Students and faculty are invited to participate in the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2024 EnergyTech University Prize. This is a $400,000+ collegiate competition that challenges student teams to identify a promising energy technology, assess its market potential, and create a business plan for commercialization.

DOE's Office of Nuclear Energy intends to sponsor a $25,000 bonus prize to students or faculty presenting business plans or educational activities related to nuclear energy technologies.

This year's EnergyTech University Prize also features a $100,000 faculty competition. The new track challenges faculty to develop and implement educational activities to engage more students in energy technology commercialization and entrepreneurship topics.
