The Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Nuclear Energy (NE) today announces the deferment of the 2018 Integrated University Program (IUP) Request for Applications (RFA) for undergraduate scholarship and graduate fellowship in nuclear energy-related fields until August 2018. Awards resulting from this solicitation are expected to be announced January of 2019 for the 2019 - 2020 academic year.
Scholarships are $7,500 for one year. The maximum award for a fellowship is $50,000 per year for three years, with an additional one-time $5,000 allotment to fund a minimum 10-week internship at DOE, a DOE national laboratory or other designated facility.
