Due to the recent surge in COVID infections and the resulting disruptions in normal schedules, DOE-NE has extended deadlines to submit applications to the Consolidated Innovative Nuclear Research (CINR) Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) and Distinguished Early Career Program (DECP) FOA to February 23, 2022. This extension is in effect for full research and development (R&D), NSUF, and Integrated Research Project application submissions, and Distinguished Early Career Program application submissions.  DOE-NE expects that this will be the only due date extension for these opportunities. (Note: The due date for applications for University Nuclear Leadership Program student scholarships and fellowships remains January 27, 2022.)

In addition to the application deadline extension, the FOAs are being amended to include clarifications to the Checklist to Avoid Common Errors for the CINR FOA and eligibility in the DECP FOA.
