The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Nuclear Energy (NE), has released a courtesy copy of draft workscopes to support the fiscal year (FY) 2023 Consolidated Innovative Nuclear Research (CINR) funding opportunity announcement (FOA). The workscopes are still in draft format and are likely to change before final release of the FOA.

Please be aware that scopes can be changed significantly or can be removed entirely between the time draft workscopes are announced and the final FOA is released. Scopes may change based on a variety of factors which include final NE management review, changes in NE priority, webinar interactions, availability of funds, etc.

NE anticipates discussing FY 2023 Consolidated Innovative Nuclear Research (CINR) FOA and will provide information on the CINR work scopes and FOA updates. It will also include information on NE's priorities, programs, and other university-focused opportunities.
