FY 2009 Scholarship & Fellowship Recipients (Schools)

Through the Integrated University Program, The Department of Energy awarded over $3 million for 76 undergraduate scholarships and 18 graduate fellowships in FY 2009 to students in nuclear energy-related engineering and science programs at universities across the country. Through this program, undergraduates will receive a $5,000 scholarship, while fellowship winners will receive $50,000 annually over three years. The selected students will study a breadth of critical nuclear energy issues, from fuel cycle sustainability to reactor efficiency and design.
