NE has allocated a combined $7 million for the University Reactor Sharing and Outreach Program and University Nuclear Research Infrastructure Revitalization funding opportunity announcements (FOAs).
The University Reactor Sharing and Outreach Program FOA encourages universities with existing nuclear research reactors to share resources and facilities with non-reactor educational institutions, such as K-12, vocational schools, and community colleges, among others.
Applications were due February 14, 2024 at 5pm ET.
DOE plans to announce the awardees for each FOA in the spring of 2024.
