Aaron Gravelle

Aaron Gravelle is the NEUP Team Lead for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy. His responsibilities include planning and executing DOE’s Nuclear Energy University Program (NEUP), Integrated University Program (IUP), and SBIR/STTR programs. Prior to his assignment, Gravelle worked as the DOE-ID Program Manager for NEUP.

Tony Feric, Ph.D.

Dr. Tony Feric is the Federal Program Manager for the Gateway for Accelerated Innovation in Nuclear (GAIN) Program and leads the Office of Nuclear Energy’s collaborations with the Office of Technology Transitions (OTT), including the Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF), Energy Program for Innovation Clusters (EPIC), Energy I-Corps, and EnergyTech University Prize. He will also be supporting the University Reactor Sharing and Outreach and University Nuclear Research Infrastructure Revitalization efforts.​

Dr. Andrew Boulanger is the program manager for the University Fuel Services within the University and Competitive Research Team in the Office of Nuclear Energy Technologies. As part of the NEUP team, he leads the CINR Inrastructure and Reactor Sharing & Outreach funding opportunities.

Jenna Payne is the program manager for the Office of Nuclear Energy’s University and Competitive Research Team. Payne oversees the university program’s R&D portfolio and NE’s scholarship and fellowship opportunities.

John Gilligan, Ph.D.

Dr. John Gilligan is the primary liaison for NEUP with universities, national laboratories, and industry and works with the Nuclear Engineering Department Heads Organization, the NEUP Engagement Committee and other organizations. He is responsible for general policies and procedures for the NEUP program.

Nick Case

Nick Case manages the financial operations of the office. He leads CINR Infrastructure, University Reactor Sharing and Outreach, and University Nuclear Research Infrastructure Revitalization. He also oversees Integrated Research Projects (IRPs), and Industry (iFOA and GAIN) solicitations.

Pamela Rich​

Pamela Rich leads review activities for the Distinguished Early Career Program (DECP). She is also the Consolidated Innovative Nuclear Research (CINR) Research and Development (R&D) coordinator and manages technical review assignments and review activities from NE’s reviewer database to support competitively reviewed NE solicitations. Pam also acts as a support for Industry solicitations.
