The Office of Nuclear Energy (NE) announces $6 million to help upgrade nuclear R&D infrastructure at U.S. universities and colleges through the University Nuclear Research Infrastructure Revitalization notice of funding opportunity (NOFO).
The NOFO supports the revitalization of U.S. capacity for university-led nuclear R&D by establishing or improving university nuclear facilities, equipment, and other related capabilities.
Applications are due February 12, 2025. NE plans to announce awardees in the spring.
