MARVEL Preliminary Engagement Questionnaire Open for Input

The U.S. Department of Energy Microreactor Program is seeking commercial and other partner input to utilize the MARVEL microreactor itself, as well as heat and electricity generated on a microgrid from MARVEL to conduct live testing and demonstration of novel technologies, equipment, and processes. Note that, in general, research and demonstration that alters the MARVEL safety basis will not be considered.

Early engagement is especially important given the project’s planned near-term availability, as it allows for adjustment of capabilities to meet partner needs.
