The Office of Nuclear Energy has released the fiscal year 2026 request for applications for the Innovations in Nuclear Energy Research and Development Student Competition.
This competition recognizes and awards published graduate and undergraduate students for innovative nuclear energy research.
Students may submit one or more publications and will be considered for any of the categories in which they are eligible. Applicants may only win one competition per year.
In addition to an honorarium, travel and conference opportunities may accompany awards and include an opportunity to present at the annual American Nuclear Society Winter Conference & Expo or during a webinar.
Applications are due November 18 at 5 p.m. ET.
