DOE Releases University Reactor Sharing and Outreach Program Awards

The Department of Energy is awarding nearly $600,000 combined to three projects at three universities in three states to share state-of-the-art training facilities with educational institutions that lack access to reactors.

The projects are awarded under the University Reactor Sharing and Outreach Program to support educational institutions that currently do not have access to research reactors, such as K-12 schools, vocational schools, community colleges, or other colleges and universities.
