Nuclear Outreach Program for High School Teachers

Purdue University’s School of Nuclear Engineering will be hosting a three-day Nuclear Outreach Program for High School Teachers from July 14-16, 2026 in West Lafayette, IN. The program will be focused on the fundamentals of nuclear energy and career pathways in nuclear industry, including lectures, lab activities at Purdue’s PUR-1 nuclear reactor, and facility tours.

This program is part of a Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Nuclear Energy University Program (NEUP) University Nuclear Research Infrastructure Revitalization Award

The program has no registration fee and all expenses related to travel and accommodation, including per-diem, will be covered by Purdue University.
